Wendover<\/b> Bowls Club –  Short Mat Bowls Section<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

The <\/b>first and prime object<\/b><\/u> of all the <\/b>Wendover<\/b> Bowls Club members is that we <\/b>enjoy ourselves            <\/b> <\/b><\/p>\n

The Short Mat Section of Wendover Bowls Club is linked to the Aylesbury Short Mat Friendly League and the Bucks Single Short Mat League playing both home and away games during the period September to May where we mix with other like minded fun loving people.
\nFor those who have not played Short Mat Bowls it is a very friendly game using standard bowls. League Matches are usually played in  the evenings on the purpose made mats in our own Pavilion. Roll-up Spoon Drives are held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, and occasional Sunday afternoons.
\nYou do not need to have played before, we have people on hand who are only too willing to introduce you to the game, and provide all the help that you need, (you do not even need at the initial stages your own bowls \u2013 we have sets on hand that you can use) our only requirement is that you wear flat shoes on the mats \u2013 but even this can be overcome by taking your shoes off.<\/p>\n

Why not come along on a Monday, Tuesday,<\/i><\/b> Thursday afternoon <\/i><\/b>and give yourself the chance of joining a friendly group whose main objective is to enjoy ourselves<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
